The Carolina Sapphire Cypress is a cultivar of the Arizona Cypress, Hesperocyparis arizonica, and is a fast-growing evergreen tree with silvery-blue foliage and a pyramidal shape. It's a native of Mexico and the southwestern United States, and was developed at Clemson University in 1968
